COVID19 – CORONA VIRUS COMPANY STATEMENT

Lomond Fine Foods Ltd are fully aware that there is a real concern from our customers regarding the impact of the virus on their business. In consideration of these concerns we have taken all necessary steps to mitigate any potential impact on our business and yours.

SUPPLY CHAIN

We have completed a risk assessment on products sourced out with the UK and are working with all our suppliers to fully understand their position with regard to supply continuity. At this time there is no cause for concern and supply chain is robust and well controlled by us and our suppliers. We will continue to work closely with all our supply base as the situation develops and will communicate any issues if and when they occur.

PERSONNEL

It is important that we protect the health of all our staff and acknowledge that drivers and field sales employees will come into contact with the general public in the execution of their duties. We have taken additional steps of providing all staff clear information on the virus, methods of control and NHS / Government websites for their reference. We have increased hand and touch point sanitising throughout the site and all customer facing employees are equipped with hand sanitiser for use regularly throughout the day.

We are monitoring staff holidays and destinations with a supplemental Return to Work procedure in place that must be completed before the employee is allowed to return to site. We expect any employee suffering from the recognised symptoms of Coronavirus infection to contact the NHS 111 helpline and be guided through the testing process provided.

These are a small number of additional controls that we have implemented in response to this outbreak but our focus remains on ‘Business as Usual’’ and uninterrupted supply to our valued customers whilst we remain diligent and responsive to government recommendations and guidance.
